GROUP PROGRAMS

 

MACSMA Mindfulness Program.

 

The MACSMA program is a six-week program which draws its inspiration from practices and ideas of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based-Stress-Reduction (MBSR), and the Transformational Coaching Method (TCM).

 

Each week of the program covers one module of the MACSMA program. There is a learning and discussion section, followed by a mindfulness practice that corresponds to the week’s topic. Each session is about an hour long (larger groups = longer run time). The modules covered are as follows:

 

1) Mental Clarity and Meta Cognition: Improving brain function and creativity;

 

2) Accepting, Forgiving, and Loving Yourself: Achieving Confidence;

 

3) Conflict Resolution and Positive Relationships;

 

4) Self-Regulation and Emotional Intelligence;

 

5) Managing Pain and Stress - Limiting Suffering;

 

6) Accessing Happiness: Achieving Wellbeing.

 

Personal progress and achievement are recorded via self-assessments that are given in the first and last sessions of the program. As a participant, you will given both at the end/last session, so that you can personally compare your starting point to your ending point and see how far you've come. As well, an end-of-program evaluation sheet is given. This is for me to keep, to get feedback from you, so that I can continue to make the program better.

 

CIRRAS Model of Self Improvement.

 

The CIRRAS model was developed to help people move out of a rut and into a better way of living. The program was developed using inspriation from the methods and ideas contained in the Transformational Coaching Method (TCM) and a New Approach to Personal Development: Unlocking our Immunity to Change.

 

Reaching goals and getting exactly what we want from life takes deep personal understanding, commitment, and effort. This course is designed to help those who may be finding it difficult to move forward, break through barriers, and/or to overcome cycles and patterns of behaviour that prevent them from getting what they want.

 

The program is six weeks long and is broken down into weekly modules which are approximately one hour in length (larger groups = longer run time). The modules are a combination of instruction, discussion, activities, and practice with setting and assessing personal goals.

 

The six modules are as follows:

 

1) Commitment to your Goals - how commitment determines success. No Matter What.

 

2) Inner Strength and Identity - your perception of you affects how people treat you and what you achieve.

 

3) Resourcefulness - knowing how to overcome obstacles, break through barriers, work around roadblocks.

 

4) Resolving Conflict - learning to benefit from conflict and achieve positive outcomes.

 

5) Acknowledging Achievements - recognising what you achieve and the immense value of small successes.

 

6) Stress Management and Self-Care - avoiding burnout for prolonged success and achievement.

 

By the end of the program, participants will have set and met a goal (or goals!) of their choosing. They should also come away with a skill set enabling them to repeat the process, as needed, for the rest of their lives.

Group programs are priced depending on when, how, and where they are delivered.
